General: Team Hardcore Playlist to Debut in Halo 3

According to this past Friday’s Bungie Weekly What's Update, Team Hardcore will be making a return to Halo 3 sometime in the near future. A forum discussion, set up by Bungie to facilitate a discussion as to what should be included in the settings for the playlist, can be found here. If you would like to toss in your two cents about the playlist, be sure to hit that thread and let your voice be heard by the Bungie developers.

It is a ranked FFA playlist that you can join with 4 people, so it might be easy to pick up any achievements that you haven't gotten yet.

General: H3 Matchmaking Updates Live

It looks like there is an update for Halo 3 that implements the following:
- Big Team Battle matches are now 16-player affairs.
- In the Team Slayer playlist, the appearance of Shotty Snipers has been greatly reduced.
- Now, when players veto Shotty Snipers, the game that results from the veto will not be Shotty Snipers.
- In one-sided VIP matches, the attacking team will now see a waypoint for the VIP they are hunting.
- In Lone Wolves, Slayer gametypes will appear more frequently.
